Range: FF - g3 Chromatic, 2x8', 1x4', Buff stop <

Pitch: 392 Hz (recommended) or 415 Hz

This instrument made by Ferguson Hoey in Oxford in 1979 is one of those rare cases when a replica makes you believe you are actually sitting at one of Pascal Taskin's original harpsichords. The sound is focused, sustained, singing, mild and melancholic, the action is light and extremely sensitive. This instrument can only be described in superlatives. Don't forget to click on the Photos for some sound samples and for some more detailed description (in Hungarian).
